I’m Ariel, the heart behind The Dirty Mermaid Shop, where my passion for dogs, art, and sustainable living comes to life. As a devoted mom to a spirited two-year-old, a loyal four-year-old Rottweiler named Jet, and a charmingly plump rescue cat, I’ve always sought ways to blend creativity with purpose. My journey began with a simple discovery: bamboo pajamas—luxuriously soft, eco-friendly, and adored by a vibrant community I never knew existed. Frustrated by the lack of dog-themed prints, especially for the breeds closest to my heart, I picked up my sketchbook and designed my own.
Our signature ‘End Breedism’ collection was born from this vision—celebrating misunderstood breeds like Rottweilers, Cane Corsos, Pitbulls, and German Shepherds with bold, beautiful artwork.
